Phyllis Fox- Phyllis is the director of Church Relations and Youth in Ministry at Milligan College. She is married to Doug and has a daughter, Katy, who graduates from Milligan in May, 2010. The Big Picture Student Conference is her favorite event of the year. She says, “Besides being a wife and mom, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping teens explore God’s call for their lives.” YiM also leads the production team for the North American Christian Teen Convention. Derek Koone- Derek is from Winston-Salem NC. He began his journey with Youth in Ministry last summer as a member of the YiM and Milligan College camp teams. He married his wonderful wife, Mallory, this past May. He is a Pastoral Ministry major at Milligan and will complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in May, 2010. He has served as a youth minister at Centenary United Methodist Church in Erwin, TN, as well as an intern at Crossroads Christian Church in Gray, TN. Derek and Mallory continue to volunteer at Crossroads and live on campus at Milligan. You can contact Derek at dskoone@milligan.edu. 

Grant Foster- Grant is the liaison between YIM and Milligan College Admissions. He and his wife, Meg, live happily with their two dogs Roxie and Kita in Elizabethton, TN. He has worked as the student minister at the Rock Fellowship in Johnson City, TN and at Unicoi Christian Church in Unicoi, TN. Grant is currently working on his Masters in Divinity at Emanuel School of Religion. He is glad to answer any questions about Milligan College or The Big Picture Teen Conference.
