TEAM ALPHA

Allison Hill       

Allison is a kind and compassionate person and an excellent example of a servant-leader.  Her home church is First Christian Church of Franklin, North Carolina. Allison discovered Milligan College through Youth in Ministry’s involvement with the North American Christian Convention’s teen program and The Big Picture Teen Conference. As a freshman, she hasn’t wasted any time getting involved in campus life. On any given day, she can be seen playing ultimate Frisbee or any other game with a group of friends on campus. She is the manager for Milligan’s men and women basketball teams and a volunteer with the Student Government Association and Vespers committees.  This summer, Allison is excited about helping students pursue God’s plan for their lives. She’ll be hanging out with the students and showing them that college is a lot of fun!  Allison is undecided for her major at Milligan, but as she explores God’s call for her vocation, she uncovers lots of opportunities to minister to the people in her life.  

Jenni Graham       

Jenni is a very passionate and outgoing young woman. Her home church is First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Florida. As a kid, she loved going to several camps each summer. Jenni loves swimming so look for her at the pool! She describes herself as being friendly, caring, and fun.  Jenni is a junior at Milligan and she serves as a Resident Assistant for one of the girls’ dorms and works as the call-center manager on campus. She’s excited to meet amazing kids this summer as she encourages them to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.  After Milligan, Jenni believes that God is calling her to seek Him in all that she does and her vocation will be business related.

Derek Koone   

This guy is passionate and full of energy.  His home church is Pinedale Christian Church in North Carolina.  He describes himself as fun, caring and athletic.  A former member of Milligan’s baseball team, Derek loves all sports.  He’s a sophomore at Milligan and a peer mentor. Derek plans to run for Student Government at Milligan next year. He believes that God is calling him to Youth Ministry and he currently serves as a part-time youth minister at a local church.  He has a strong Christian foundation and will be a good leader for your camp.

Cody McLellan - Team Leader

Cody loves to play baseball and football and describes himself as being easy-going, competitive, and genuine. He’s from Kernersville, North Carolina, and is a member of First Christian Church. He attended camp as a kid at Park Springs Christian Camp in North Carolina and he looks forward to discovering how God is working in the lives of the students he meets this summer. Cody currently serves as a youth sponsor at Crossroads Christian Church in Gray, TN. At Milligan, he’s a junior and involved in the Student Government Association and small groups. He believes God is calling him into Youth Ministry after he graduates from Milligan.

TEAM OMEGA

Kandice Davis      

Kandice is a passionate young woman who works hard at everything she does. From Queens, New York, her home church is Christ’s Church in Montclair, New Jersey. Kandice is a freshman at Milligan where is serves as a Bible study group student leader.  She’s also on the Chapel committee, Vespers committee, Multicultural Affairs committee and she’ll be a resident assistant next year. Kandice enjoys playing volleyball, swimming, painting and drawing. Friends describe her as relaxed, intricate, and passionate. She believes that God is calling her to live her life in devotion to Christ and to help build his Kingdom.

Kristen Bartlett        

Kristen is a MK and she spent most of her high school years in the Ukraine where her parents still live. She’s involved in many activities on Milligan’s campus including being a resident assistant, member of the women’s track team, campus ministry, FCA, and Youth in Ministry. She describes herself as being shy, friendly, and patient. This summer, Kristen is looking forward to getting to know the camp kids as she encourages them to deepen their relationship with Christ. She graduates from Milligan College in May, 2008, and plans to pursue God’s call in Christian counseling with children.

Adam Proffitt        

Adam is a freshman at Milligan and he’s on the men’s soccer team. He’s a PK from Jonesborough, Tennessee, and he loves coaching a soccer team at a local elementary school in the afternoons.  He also enjoys ultimate Frisbee and anything sports related.  Adam describes himself as outgoing, fun and random.  He’s excited about getting to know students and having an opportunity to impact lives.  Adam is a youth ministry major at Milligan and he currently serves as a middle school sponsor with a local church.   

Jonathan Hawkins - Team Leader        

Jonathan describes himself as easy-going, patient, and a promoter. His favorite hobby is playing the guitar and he is a key worship leader on Milligan’s campus. Jonathan is a junior at Milligan and a youth ministry major. He’s a PK from Vero Beach, Florida, where he grew up going to Lake Aurora Christian Camp. This summer, he looks forward to having a great time teaching, guiding, and playing games with the kids. At Milligan, Jonathan is involved in Vespers, Chapel, the Institute of Servant Leadership, Campus Ministry, Greek Tutor, and the Republican club. After Milligan, he plans to go into full-time ministry focusing on preaching and worship.  Jonathan currently serves as a part-time youth minister with a local church.
