Wondering what to expect at THE BIG PICTURE?

THE BIG PICTURE will challenge you to accept God’s call and help guide you into His service. Held on the campus of Milligan College, you will spend a week with other teens who are serious about defining God's call for their lives. It’s a week that will change your life and help guide your future.

Concerned about attending without a friend coming with you? Over one-half of the students that attend THE BIG PICTURE attend on their own. Everyone makes friends quickly in their small groups.  The Big Picture's total attendance is around 60 students--you'll get a chance to know everyone who attends.  And you will make friends with students who are just like you--passionate about growing in their relationship with God.

While we don’t want to spoil the many surprises that you’ll experience at THE BIG PICTURE, here’s a sample of what each day will include--

Sunday, July 20 
3-5 p.m. Registration for everyone. The evening’s activities include dinner, worship, small groups, and time for creativity.

Monday, July 21
Begin to discover God's unqiue design of your spiritual gifts and social styles. Take an in-depth look at God's call to the Old Testament Prophets. Begin to unwrap your leadership potential with the evening speaker's presentation, "God's Call to Leadership." 

Tuesday, July 22
Ministry skills workshops,  Bible study, small groups, and MORE. Discover how your spiritual gifts are practiced with 1 Corinthians 13.  Learn about "God's Call to Minister." Pursue God through one of the spiritual practices.

Wednesday, July 23
This day will be filled with times for reflection and lots of fun. We'll follow a schedule similar to Tuesday but our evening session will be very different.  Recall your love for your Savior at the Feast of Remembrance.

Thursday, July 24  
Where do you think God is calling you? What vocations can also be ministries? Today you'll meet with a counselor in your small group that will aid your discovery process and give you some steps to take for the next 12 months.  Bible study, ministry skill workshops, afternoon games...all these and more today.  Evening session--God's Call to Serve.

High school students graduating in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 are welcome to apply. This includes 2008 graduating seniors plus rising sophomores, graduating in 2011, for registration consideration.
