Intimacy With God                (Kit Dotson)
Fasting, prayer, silence, solitude, and journaling are all forms of worship, however, these and other disciplines never seem to take priority in our lives. This workshop will explore the importance of having an intimate relationship with Christ and will encourage you to be more attentive to God’s presence in your life.  Kit Dotson will share many of these ancient practices with you in hopes that they may alter your life-as-usual and make you more intentionally aware of God’s continual work of grace in your life.

MASTERpiece                        (Curtis Booher)
Long ago, God, the Master Artist, began thinking about how your life would look. He formed you with a plan and purpose in mind for your life. The Artist gave you passions, gifts, and skills that make you unique from anyone else He has created. Because of His great love for you, the Artist has been at work sculpting and chiseling the stuff that needs to be removed like pride, envy, greed, and anger so that you will better reflect the image of his Son. Come discover how you are a unique work of God’s creative art. Learn how God is at work in your life. Explore how you, as a masterpiece, can point back to the Artist.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”  Ephesians 2:10 NLT

Illusion                                    (Corri Richardson and Nickie Ball)
Do you remember playing Hide and Seek? It was great to find the spot where you couldn’t be found. Unfortunately, some of us play this game everyday. We hide behind false personalities, attitudes, emotions, and feelings hoping that no one will find us - or we want them to find us, but fear what they will think when they see the truth. What would our friends do if they found out who we really were? Or what had happened? Or what we’ve done? This workshop is a challenge to come out from hiding behind the false images and find the life God has designed.
Mirror, Mirror                         (Ryan Evans)
Have you been told that you should reflect the image of Christ? Christians are often encouraged to "be like Jesus" but what does that really mean, and why is it so hard? Mirror, Mirror dives into how to be Christ-like in a unique way through real life stories and hard truths. You will be encouraged to ask yourself, “Who do you bring glory toyourself or Jesus?”
Next Steps             (Katy Fox)
Picture life after high school graduation. Whether you’ve got the whole scene sketched out in your head or are left hyperventilating, staring at a big fat question mark, it’s good to set some time aside and think some things through. We’ve got no magic 8 ball, but we do have some practical tips that can help you process your next step. Put down the paper bag and breathe a little deeper, this is a great session for high school juniors and seniors. Think it through – what’s your next step?

Leading Like Jesus           (Phyllis Fox and Troy Petrie)
Jesus modeled how to love those you lead. Perhaps Dorothy of “The Wizard of Oz” learned a few leadership lessons from Jesus. Like the Rabbi, she walked beside her friends and taught them along the way. Dorothy was a good listener, an encourager, and she helped them to identify their gifts and passions even when they felt hopeless and afraid. Jesus taught the disciples through shared experiences as he called them to join in his mission. Discover how Jesus and Dorothy taught that the path to greatness begins when you serve others.

Send ME?    (Bruce Montgomery)
Isaiah was bold when he responded, “Send me” to God’s question, “Whom should I send as a messenger to my people? Who will go for us?” (Isaiah 6:8 NLT)  You want your life to make a difference in the world but you aren’t sure that God is calling you for full time service in the church. This workshop will help you explore what a “call” to ministry sounds like. And you can examine how your gifts and passions could be used. Get practical tips on how you can prepare for ministry while you are in high school.
